Bored Hipsters
Overview
Bored Hipsters is a collection of 500 unique, hand-drawn characters minted as NFTs on the Polygon blockchain. This self-initiated project was both an artistic exploration and a technical deep dive, giving me the chance to design an entire NFT collection from scratch while experimenting with generative art, blockchain development, and digital storytelling.

Process
- Art & Design: Hand-illustrated dozens of unique “traits” in a bold, satirical style, then used a generative art engine to create the full collection.
- Technology: Built the smart contract and minting dApp, gaining firsthand experience with the technical side of NFTs.
- Brand & Web: Designed and developed the collection’s website, tying together the artwork, minting flow, and project narrative in a cohesive experience.
Outcome
The project served as a complete crash course in NFT creation, teaching me the end-to-end process of producing, launching, and marketing a digital collection. Beyond the learning experience, it allowed me to experiment with new forms of creative expression, explore blockchain as a design medium, and generate direct profit from my own original artwork.
