Ethereum Name Service
Overview
I was hired by the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) team on a one-time engagement to redesign their domain registration flow, helping simplify the process of registering decentralized domains and improving usability for both new and experienced users.
The Problem
The existing ENS domain registration flow was confusing for new users and lacked clarity around critical steps like domain setup, payment, and wallet connection. This created friction and limited adoption, making it harder for users to register domains confidently.
The Solution
I redesigned the registration flow with a step-by-step structure that reduced cognitive load and clarified each stage. I also created a clean, modern UI style aligned with ENS branding. Interactive prototypes and design assets were delivered to guide the team’s internal redesign decisions.

The Impact
While the team didn’t implement my designs exactly, they incorporated key UX patterns and visual styling from my work. My contribution directly informed a smoother, more intuitive registration flow and a more polished UI, improving usability and the overall user experience for ENS domain registration.
